-PRESS RELEASE-

MD Coder Offers PQRI coding module to help physicians meet new CMS bonus benchmarks.

Added functionality alerts physician when CPT II codes are required.

Houston, Texas, June 05, 2007 --- Mobile Design Technologies, Inc.,  a rapidly-growing company providing mobile technology solutions  for physicians to more effectively capture charges at the point of care, today announced it has incorporated  new functionality to help physicians to meet the new Physician Quality Reporting Initiative  (PQRI) starting July 1, 2007.      MD Coder, the company’s award-winning mobile charge capture program, will help physicians to meet the additional coding requirements by triggering alerts based on specific CPT and ICD-9 codes.    The alert feature will help physicians meet the frequency and accuracy requirements that are tied to the 1.5 % bonus.

Medical coding has become increasingly complex and this new initiative by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) adds another layer.   “Our goal is to offer physicians a mobile charge capture solution that addresses changes and additions in the coding requirements”, said Damon Spiegel, CEO.   “We have worked closely with our clients to understand the challenges of incorporating the PQRI into their practice, and have created a solution that makes it easy for physicians to comply with the requirements for the bonus payment.”

MD Coder Web Edition and MD Coder Enterpriser Server are being deployed by physician practices eager to take advantage of mobile technology to improve their administrative processes and their revenues.

About Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI)

In December of 2006, the President signed the Tax Relief and Health Care Act of 2006 (TRHCA). Section 101 under Title I authorizes the establishment of a physician quality reporting system by CMS. CMS has titled the statutory program the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).

PQRI establishes a financial incentive for eligible professionals to participate in a voluntary quality reporting program. Eligible professionals who successfully report a designated set of quality measures on claims for dates of service from July 1 to December 31, 2007, may earn a bonus payment, subject to a cap, of 1.5% of total allowed charges for covered Medicare physician fee schedule services.   For additional information visit http://www.cms.hhs.gov/PQRI
