Wright State Physicians Chooses MD Coder Charge Capture Solution

Multi-specialty physician group to implement MD Coder Web Edition

Houston, Texas – November 1, 2007-  Mobile Design Technologies, Inc. (MDT), a rapidly-growing  provider of mobile charge capture solutions for physicians and healthcare organizations, announced  today that Wright State Physicians (WSP) has selected and deployed the MD Coder™ Web Edition mobile charge capture solution.  Wright State Physicians, a 130-physician practice in Dayton, Ohio, joins a rapidly growing number of physician groups across the country that have turned to the MD Coder mobile charge capture solution for their physicians to enhance effectiveness and productivity.  

MD Coder replaces Wright State Physicians’ traditional paper-based process with an electronic charge capture solution.  Capturing charges via MD Coder has been proven to dramatically improve physician productivity, shorten the billing cycle, and deliver quantifiable savings in several areas.

Wright State physicians use MD Coder to capture charges at the facilities that they round on, including Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton and wirelessly synchronize those charges via their handheld devices in real time to their billing office.   This information with be seamlessly integrated with WSP’s existing practice management system from Athena Health via an HL7 interface.  The interface with the Athena Health program provides a bi-directional data feed for transferring patient demographic information and charge information electronically thus eliminating a significant portion of the data entry required to process claims.
